Course details
In this 6 week course we will be learning about mindfulness and how it can be helpful in life. We cover thoughts, feelings, different emotions and how to manage the bigger, more powerful feelings such as fear, anger and anxiety. We learn about what happens in the brain and body when we feel different ways and I teach lots of mindfulness strategies. We focus on resilience, growth mindset and how to foster happiness. We also cover friendship issues and self-esteem. We will be learning a tool kit of helpful ideas to manage the ups and downs of life.
The children will make crafts and eat biscuits! I always weave in whatever is coming up for your child at the time. Please note, your child does not need to have any specific 'emotional issues' to benefit from this course.
